totientToday was my first time actually setting up and running a test GSM network, with actual phones. It's not connected to the rest of the world, so we test by calling one cell phone from another one. There's a lot of what amounts to walking around saying "can you hear me now"? What's most amusing, though, is the test cell phone numbers: they're all in the reserved exchange, 555. I feel like I'm in a movie or something.
