So a friend of mine is trying to invite a bunch of people including me to a group dinner. But he fatfingered my email address (the domain name is wrong), so I have mostly not been seeing any of the conversation except when someone remembers to cc me correctly.

Which is sad.

But another of the folks on the invite list runs a machine on which I have an account with that username, and decided to fix the problem by registering the incorrect domain name so that when the other folks in the conversation forgot to fix it in their replies it would go through anyway.

Yay!
