on my way to the train from DC to Princeton, I took the Red Line subway, including passing through the very oldest stations in the system. That reminded me that I hadn't blogged this interesting graphical history of the Metro system.

I started riding Metro at number 15 in that sequence. It's interesting how vaulting in the underground stations changed over time. I can bring The Great Society Subway with me to Baitcon if you're interested in the developmental history of Washington Metro, including the politics behind it's creation.
