those values upon which our success depends ... tolerance and curiosity ... . I don't know when I've ever heard a national leader refer to curiosity as one of our fundamental strengths and values. But it made me really really happy.
rereading, I'm also really struck by "we will extend a hand if you are willing to unclench your fist", not least because of the reference to Indira Gandhi (http://www.quotationspage.com/quote/1117.html).
