See, this is why I think the culture of life is insane. It's not that we want to save lives; it's just that certain kinds of fatalities are considered "bad" out of all proportion to how bad we consider fatalities in general. Then we wind up spending hundreds of millions of dollars to save one person's life, when we can't be bothered to spend $5 to save someone else's.
