some things do change

Watched The Matrix Reloaded on the IMAX last night. I'd seen it before, and noticed some new things this time. For instance, every car and light truck in the entire extended car chase scene is a GM product. I hadn't really noticed the expression of the change theme in Morpheus' line "Some things never change ... some things do change" which is repeated elsewhere in the movie. Things like that.

Today at work I checked in changes to a bunch of files. The previous revision of one of the files was revision 436. The previous revision of another was... 1. Some things never change...
