Amid the tchotchke stalls and limpid steam-tray Indian food, two standouts:
- One of the Diva stalls had an oven going and were making stuffed naan to order. Delicious.
- On Elm Street, a stall selling prints of old maps. These are copyright-free and available on the Web, but most people don't have access to a printer that can print them out, and these were nicely done prints, and reasonably enough priced at $40. They also had some original survey maps at $150-$250, which is typical for such things in town, though shops away from town (particularly Douglas Harding in Wells, ME) are enough less expensive that it's worth the trip.
