I'm looking for someone to perform the "Novice Pre-Check" of an upcoming rally. This consists of driving the 100-mile course while I read you the instructions and take note of where you get lost. If we do it tomorrow morning, we could then proceed to the 55-mile Rally Against Leukemia in the afternoon and compete as a team there (though we'd have to compete in the experienced class). The afternoon rally starts in Loudon, and it would be good to be there between 3 and 3:30. It's 105 miles from the Mendon Twin to Loudon, so that means finishing the precheck by 1:30ish, which means either rushing or starting it by 8:30, which means leaving Somerville at something like 7:45. Or punting on the afternoon rally.

OK, so maybe doing this and the afternoon rally both is impractical. I'd happily punt the afternoon rally in order to make a later start on the precheck.

The plan, for anyone crazy enough to be reading this between now and when the plan is executed, is to show up part way through Hannah's move, and figure out there who wants to do the precheck and who would rather go to the afternoon rally. If enough people are interested, maybe we can have some people doing each, but it's not practical for anyone to do both.
