powers of two

So this year Arisia had a book published reprinting some of Tim Powers' out-of-print work (he was our GoH this year). Since it was two shorter books in one, we called it Powers of Two. Which prompted the Sales Table staff to make piles of two or four or eight of it.

Amusingly, the books came shipped in cases of 32, and Arisia sold 4 cases of books for a total of 128.

I picked this up (the first Tim Powers I've ever read), and immediately found a couple egregious typesetting errors in the introduction. The last 4½ lines of page v are repeated at the top of page vi, and a (presumably) similar amount is missing between page vi and page vii. Plus the obvious font problem on page vii.

Happily, I haven't seen so much as a typo in the remainder of the book (so far). And it's even shaping up to be a decent story.

Cool! So can I order a copy and throw the whole business off?
