A batch in the roaster is two ounces or so. That's enough for one drip pot at home or half an air pot at the office.

Where do you order your coffee from?

I get mine from Sweet Maria's, because they sell by the pound. I'm considering getting a group together to make an order from Zephyr -- they sell only by the bag, but some of the specialty coffees like Jamaican Blue Mountain come in smaller bags.

If you can get some Rainforest Alliance certified beans from Zephyr, I could be interested in participating in a group order.

With what are you measuring your coffee to .05 oz resolution?

Just an ordinary kitchen scale. I don't imagine that's 1g accuracy, but I don't really need 1g accuracy to blend a batch for roasting.
