wallpaper steamer?

Anyone in Greater Somerville have a wallpaper steamer I could borrow this evening?

What room are you taking wallpaper off in?
When I did the living room there, I used a little rolling perforator thing (to get through the layer of paint) and a wet sponge, and it worked great. Also, much less hot and humid.

Paper Tiger. Yep, I've used that with the spray on enzymes that eat the adhesive.

I believe you can rent a wallpaper steamer if you don't have any luck finding one. Check out Taylor Rentals. There's one in Arlington Heights (among other places).

This is in the bathroom (which was way overdue for an overhaul). We did manage to get the wallpaper off without too much difficulty, but it might have been nice to have something that went a little quicker since the whole project has to be done by the time Katy and Nathan get back on Monday.

It must have helped that the wallpaper in there had been slowly steaming off for the last however-many years.
What color are you painting it?

It's now blue, with the walls that enclose the bedroom closet done in a color that after much debate we are calling "Mango". We couldn't match the pink tile, so some of it (in a pattern that looks intentional) is now ivory. And the trim is an off white.
