On May 12 I will be going on a liesurely 48 mile bike ride, in the general direction of Concord and Carlisle. Want to come with me? We'll probably take six or seven hours including a bunch of stops including a nice lunch.
We'll go at the pace of the slowest rider, which is usually between 10 and 12 miles an hour. And we'll stop for an hour for lunch and probably a total of an hour for breaks for ice cream and such. So six or seven hours total. I like to aim to leave at 10 so that we'll actually be on the road by 10:30, which would get us back at 5:00 plus or minus. But I can be flexible on timing.
