I love the world "physically" in your last paragraph. "Financially" and "procedurally" on the other hand ... Also, I suspect for those spatially challenged fen, a more conventional layout in one big box would be better, so even physically there are some issues. The connections between the two towers are giving some people problems and even I have found it easier to wonder around outside than through the underground office worker warren(s).
Wasn't the previous Orlando Worldcon at the Peabody?
While following some of the teamsters on a delivery run of printers yesterday, I overhead one of them referring to their "6 figure labor job". Now it is possible they are only making $20 to $30 per hour and working a heck of a lot of overtime, but somehow I suspect they are making closer to $50 per hour. Which means that maybe it is only a 200% markup.
